Using Wildcards
Wildcards (* or ?) are currently allowed in limited usage, in the middle or end of terms only. An asterisk (*) is used to find zero or more unknown characters; (?) is used to find any one unknown character. Examples:
- dar* – will find "dar", "dart", "darkowl", "daredevil", etc
- d?rk – will find "dark", "dork", "dirk", etc; will not find "drk" (however, d*rk would)
DarkOwl Vision does not support leading wildcards. In other words, a search term cannot begin with either one of the wildcard characters.
